JMO4Rep Update - July 2006

Constituents, Friends, and Allies,

With about three weeks left until Primary Election Day (Aug. 8), this edition of the JMO4Rep Update will be devoted to the 59th District House race. My campaign for re-election is going very well, thanks to the help of many on this list as well as other community leaders and volunteers. I expect a victory on August 8, and given that I only have a Libertarian opponent in November, in my very Democratic leaning district, the major race is the August primary.

If you haven't picked up the July 11 issue of the Arch City Chronicle, please do. Publisher Dave Drebes had some very nice things to say about my record and character in his endorsement. He said (in part): "[Oxford] has fought tooth and nail for the city and for the often overlooked, and she has done so taking the high road at all times. Given enough time in Jefferson City, we are strong believers that Oxford will be a potent force in eroding the cynicism of the Capitol, transforming the culture
there."
